PHILADELPHIA — A Bristol business is suing New Image Global Inc., a California company, citing alleged patent infringement concerning tobacco products.
NHA Inc. filed a complaint on March 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania alleging that the California business sells products through its website that infringe plaintiff's patents.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that NHA sustained damages to its business from having its patent infringed. The plaintiff holds New Image Global responsible because it allegedly offers products for sale that infringe one or more claims of plaintiff's patent.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to restrain the defendant and their agents from further infringing plaintiff's patent, injunction against the defendant, damages, interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. The plaintiff is represented by James J. Kozuch and Pei-Ru Wey of Caesar Rivise PC in Philadelphia.
