PHILADELPHIA — A chemical distributor is suing Betachem Inc., a pharmaceutical company, citing alleged breach of contract for unpaid invoices of over $200,000.
ChayseChem Inc., based in Yardley, filed a complaint on March 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania alleging that the New Jersey corporation failed to pay the plaintiff for the chemicals it supplied.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it sustained financial damages to its company. The plaintiff holds Betachem responsible because the defendant allegedly only partially paid plaintiff's invoices.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $214,468 plus interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. The plaintiff is represented by Ralph J. Kelly of McShea Law Firm P.C. in Philadelphia.
