Oakmont Center allegedly failed to pay Bensalem firm for services, supplies

PHILADELPHIA — A Bensalem corporation is suing Oakmont Care LLC d/b/a Oakmont Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, citing alleged breach of contract for failing to pay for services.

Healthcare Services Group Inc. filed a complaint on May 16 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania alleging that the nursing facility failed to pay for the services and supplies the plaintiff provided.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Healthcare Services Group was damaged financially due to not being paid for its service. The plaintiff holds Oakmont Center responsible because it allegedly refused to pay the plaintiff for outstanding obligations owed.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $129,675.99 plus court costs, interest, and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by John C. Kilgannon of Stevens & Lee P.C. in Philadelphia.
