Woman says Rosewood wrongfully terminated her after she reported abuse

Wrongful term 02

SCRANTON — A former employee is suing Investment 360 LLC, Rest Haven Operating LLC and Rosewood Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, alleging discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination.

Crystal Jimmie of Trucksville filed a complaint on May 26 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against the Schuylkill Haven-based nursing facility alleging that it terminated her employment as retaliation.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was damaged from the wrongful termination. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly retaliated against the plaintiff for voicing her concerns about abusive incidents happening in the facility.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all relief necessary to the plaintiff, back pay, lost wages, interest, special damages, compensatory damages, treble damages, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by George Barron of Wilkes-Barre.
