Law money 06

PHILADELPHIA — Three current staff members are suing Progressions Behavioral Health Services Inc., alleging unpaid wages and Workers' Compensation violations.

Tracy Charles, Shanna Griffin and Antonio Simon filed a complaint on May 30 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania alleging that the mental health care provider has failed to pay fair wages to the plaintiffs during their employment. The plaintiffs are employed as behavioral health and therapeutic support staff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were damaged from not being paid proper wages. The plaintiffs hold the company responsible because it allegedly failed to pay overtime wages to the plaintiffs for weeks in which they worked more than 40 hours.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek unpaid compensation, unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages and any further relief this court grants.
