SCRANTON — An Ohio company is suing Spectrum Business Forms & Advertising Specialties LLC, a Pennsylvania company, citing alleged copyright infringement.
The Reynolds and Reynolds Company filed a complaint on June 9 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania alleging that the defendant, a Williamsport company, copied the plaintiff's forms without its consent.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it sustained damages to its business. The plaintiff holds Spectrum Business Forms & Advertising Specialties responsible because the defendant allegedly infringed on plaintiff's patents for the forms .
The plaintiff seeks injunction, actual damages, disgorgement of all gains, profits and advantages, statutory damages, treble damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Jeffrey D. Bukowski of Stevens & Lee P.C. in Reading.
