SCRANTON — A Pennsylvania man is suing Client Services Inc., a Missouri corporation, citing alleged violation of telephone harassment statutes.

David Kennoy filed a complaint on June 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant called him several times.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he experienced a "nuisance and invasion of privacy" from receiving several unwanted calls. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly using a pre-recorded voice to call him.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for statutory damages between $500 and $1,500 per call, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Brett Freeman of Sabatini Law Firm LLC in Dunmore.
