Capstone Logistics, Pinnacle Workforce Logistics allege unlawful deductions were taken from paychecks

PHILADELPHIA – Three warehouse employees allege that they are owed unpaid wages.

Eric Bass, Khalid Carrington and Maurice Jones filed a complaint on July 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Capstone Logistics LLC and Pinnacle Workforce Logistics LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act and the Pennsylvania Wage Payment Collection Law.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs are current freight handlers for the defendants at a Philadelphia warehouse. The plaintiffs holds Capstone Logistics LLC and Pinnacle Workforce Logistics LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly have not paid them their proper hourly rate on a weekly basis for all hours worked, have intentionally made illegal deductions from paychecks and failed to pay overtime wages.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek compensate and reimburse the plaintiffs, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Ari R. Karpf of Karpf, Karpf & Cerutti PC in Bensalem.
