BB&T Commercial Equipment Capital Corp. alleges Happy Clam Holdings defaulted on loan

PHILADELPHIA – A Malvern business alleges that two North Carolina individuals owe more than $250,000 on a defaulted loan.

BB&T Commercial Equipment Capital Corp., formerly known as Susquehanna Commercial Finance Inc., filed a complaint on July 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Happy Clam Holdings Inc., Ryan Humphrey and Stephanie Humphrey alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, Happy Clam Holdings executed an agreement with the plaintiff to finance equipment in December 2015 with the Humphreys as sureties. The plaintiff alleges Happy Clam defaulted on the loan in June.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $250,588.75 plus interest and late charges. It is represented by Barbara L. Farley of Barbara Lanza, Farley in Philadelphia.
