PHILADELPHIA – A Jenkintown man has quickly dismissed his lawsuit alleging he received unlawful solicitation calls regarding home improvement estimates.
Andrew R. Perrong filed a complaint on Aug. 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Lednor Corp., doing business as Harry Helmet, alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he received a call on July 27 to solicit pricing estimates for home improvements. He alleged his phone number is listed on the National Do-Not-Call Registry.
He dismissed his complaint with prejudice on Aug. 24.
The plaintiff had requested a trial by jury and sought statutory and punitive damages. He was representing himself.
