Claim Doc alleges Needham Business Consulting violated settlement agreement

Contract 04

PHILADELPHIA – A company in the state is alleged to have breached a settlement agreement.

Ben Krambeck and Claim Doc LLC filed a complaint on Aug. 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against David Fishbone and Needham Business Consulting PA LLC alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs entered into a consulting agreement with the defendants in 2013. The suit states Claim Doc commended arbitration in December 2015 because the defendant allegedly breached the consulting agreement. The suit states that the parties later agreed to a settlement in March 2016, and the terms of the settlement included that Claim Doc was to pay Needham $370,000 and that Needham was to have no contact with Wirerope Works Inc.

The plaintiffs holds Fishbone and Needham Business Consulting PA LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly breached the settlement with the plaintiff by directly or indirectly contacting Wirerope "for the purpose of convincing it to terminate its relationship with Claim Doc at a time when Claim Doc was still making payments" as per the agreement, the suit states.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages equal to the amount of money paid by plaintiffs under the term sheet, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by David Smith and Courtney Devon Taylor of Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP in Philadelphia.
