Man alleges All Service Building Management Corp. did not pay overtime wages

Law money 10

PITTSBURGH - An Erie man alleges his former janitorial services employer owes him unpaid wages.

Jerome Young filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania Sept. 15 against the All Service Building Management Corp.; Servicemaster Contract Services by Uveges; and Ryan Uveges, care of All Service Building Management Corp., citing the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff worked for the defendants for eight years beginning in 2009. He alleges he was only paid for 40 hours per week even if he exceeded those hours. He alleges there were weeks when he received no pay at all.

The plaintiff holds All Service Building Management Corp.; Servicemaster Contract Services by Uveges; and Ryan Uveges, care of All Service Building Management Corp., responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff any overtime premiums at a rate of time-and-one-half for hours worked that exceeds 40 per week.

The plaintiff seeks all pay and benefits due to him, liquidated damages, court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Ari Karpf of Karpf Karpf & Cerutti P.C. in Bensalem.
