Patents 03

PHILADELPHIA – Three corporations allege that they are not infringing on a Philadelphia company's patents.

Nagra USA Inc., Nagravision S.A. and Kudelski S.A. filed a complaint on Sept. 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Comcast Cable Communications LLC seeking declaratory judgment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they were accused of infringing on the defendant's '179 and '410 patents.

The plaintiffs allege that they have not and do not infringe on them.

The plaintiffs seek a declaration that they have not infringed on the patents, an injunction against the defendant, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Kevin M. Flannery and Joseph Gribbin of Dechert LLP in Philadelphia.
