SCRANTON – A Laflin company alleges it was not paid in full for its work by a Kansas corporation.
Popple Construction Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Kiewit Power Constructors Co. alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the parties entered into a contract for the plaintiff to perform excavation and site work for a Lackawanna County construction project in March 2016. The plaintiff alleges it was not fully compensated for its work by the defendant.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount equal to the unpaid subcontract balance, interest and court costs. It is represented by Raymond P. Wendolowski of Law Office of Raymond P. Wendolowski in Wilkes-Barre.
