Law money 03

PHILADELPHIA — A former employee is suing an employer, citing alleged unpaid wages, violation of applicable minimum wage law, violation of state law and violation of Workers' Compensation acts.

Ezio Torres filed a complaint Oct. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Clip Interactive LLC, alleging it did not properly compensate the plaintiff for his work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked as the vice president of interactive sales and partnerships from June 1, 2015, to May 15, 2016, but was not paid the salary promised. He also claims wages were improperly withheld without his consent. The plaintiff holds Clip Interactive responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff in full for his work.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages for past and future monetary loss, compensatory damages, punitive damages, liquidated damages, court costs, interest, allowance to compensate for negative tax consequences, enjoin the defendant and further relief this court grants. He is represented by David M. Koller of Koller Law LLC in Philadelphia.
