UM Technologies LLC alleges $200,000 loan hasn't been repaid

Late 02

SCRANTON – A Moosic limited liability company alleges it was not paid in full for a loan.

UM Technologies LLC filed a complaint on Nov. 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Hilts Global (Cayman) Limited, Hilts Global (US) LLC, Hilts Global (UK) and Mark Brooke alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it loaned $200,000 to Hilts under the guaranty of Brooke in February 2016.

The plaintiff holds Hilts Global (Cayman) Limited, Hilts Global (US), LLC, Hilts Global (UK) and Brooke responsible because the defendants allegedly failed and refused to pay the plaintiff in the amount of $200,000 plus interest based on their loan agreement.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $200,000 plus interest, punitive damages and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Lawrence J. Moran Jr., Luke P. Moran and Brendan N. Fitzgerald of Joyce, Carmody & Moran PC in Pittston.
