Law money 08

PITTSBURGH – A Monongahela electrical contractor and subcontractor is alleged to have failed to submit reports to a labor union.

Board of trustees of the Western Pennsylvania Electrical Employees Pension, Insurance Trust, Deferred Compensation and Wage & Fringe Funds and The National Electric Benefit Fund filed a complaint on Nov. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Extreme Electric Inc., Dean J. Parasolick, Katherine Parasolick and Debbie A. Wright citing the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that the defendants have failed to submit benefit contribution reports for May to September 2017. They allege the employee contributions for this period are also unknown.

The plaintiffs hold Extreme Electric Inc., Dean J. Parasolick, Katherine Parasolick and Wright responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their contractual agreement with the plaintiff by failing to submit the reports.

The plaintiffs seek all unpaid contributions following an audit, interest on all unpaid contributions, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Tony J. Thompson and Jason Mettley of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP in Pittsburgh.
