PITTSBURGH – Former drivers of a shipping and transportation service company allege they did not receive any wages during a period of their employment.

Glenwood Johnston, Ladel Richards, Tracy Guinard, et al. filed a complaint on behalf of similarly situated employees on Dec. 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Titan Logistics & Resources LLC, Tony Digiamberdine and Beemac Trucking citing the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act and the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs worked as truck drivers for the defendants for a period of December 2014 to Nov. 16, 2017, and worked for more than 40 hours per week.

The plaintiffs holds Titan Logistics & Resources LLC, Digiamberdine and Beemac Trucking responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay overtime pay to the plaintiffs at a rate of time-and-one-half for working more than 40 hours per week. They also allege that the defendants failed to pay them any wages at all during certain periods.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek money damages, liquidated damages, payment of unreimbursed business expenses, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Joseph H. Chivers of The Employment Rights Group in Pittsburgh.
