Giant Eagle Inc. accused of failing to pay overtime wages

PITTSBURGH — An individual has filed a class-action lawsuit against Giant Eagle Inc. for allegedly failing to pay overtime wages.

Jordan Jones filed a complaint on March 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, alleging that the defendant failed to pay him a fair wage for his work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he frequently worked more than 40 hours per week, but he allegedly was not paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to pay him overtime wages or working more than 40 hours per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid overtime compensation, an injunction against the defendant, liquidated damages, court costs, interest and any further relief this court grants.
