Springboard Media Inc. allegedly failed to pay overtime wages

PHILADELPHIA — An individual has filed a class action lawsuit against an employer, citing alleged unpaid wages.

Shawn Dessaigne filed a complaint on April 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Springboard Media Inc. for allegedly violating the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he and other employees regularly worked more than 40 hours per week, but they allegedly were not properly compensated for working overtime.

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to pay overtime wages.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks back pay and overtime wages, liquidated damages, attorney's fees, costs, pre- and post-judgment interest and any equitable relief that the court deems proper. He is represented by Michael Murphy and Benjamin Salvina of Murphy Law Group LLC in Philadelphia.
