Plaintiff alleges Frontier Utilities Northeast made unlawful telemarketing calls

PHILADELPHIA – An electric generation supplier is alleged to have made unlawful telemarketing calls to a man.

Jon Frey, individually and on behalf of a class of all persons similarly situated, filed a complaint on May 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Frontier Utilities Northeast LLC and John Doe corporation alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

The suit states on March 20, the defendant contacted him for telemarketing purposes through the use of a dialing system. He alleges the defendant used a local caller ID number to mislead recipients into answering the call.

The plaintiff alleges he is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry, the defendant did not have his consent to call him, and the call caused him harm.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Marc Davies in Philadelphia.
