Delaware County Court of Common Pleas

MEDIA – A Havertown attorney representing a client involved in a dispute with the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers local union is asking for a court's help with union members who have staged protests outside his home.

Boyden Gabell, Esquire filed a complaint Dec. 16 in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County against Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Local 1 and others seeking a special injunction and temporary restraining order.

Gabell, a real estate transactional attorney and partner with Gabell Beaver LLC, represents 150 Philly LLC, which owns a portion of the Public Ledger Building in Philadelphia.

According to Gabell's complaint, 150 Philly is involved in a dispute with several trade unions over its hiring of contractors for the renovation of the building. Gabell claims that the unions have harassed and stalked him, including picketing, demonstrating and distributing leaflets in front of his Havertown home.

The complaint includes photos of giant inflatable rats outside of his home, which is also his office.

Gabell seeks an injunction to prohibit the defendant's conduct. He is represented by Walter Zimolong of Zimolong LLC in Villanova.
