Pittsburgh couple suing Monroeville Olive Garden after slip on wet floor results in injury

PITTSBURGH - A Pittsburgh husband and wife are suing GMR Restaurants of Pennsylvania/Darden Restaurants, Inc., owners of the Olive Garden at 260 Mall Boulevard in Monroeville, after the wife says she slipped on a wet floor in the Olive Garden bathroom on Mar. 27, 2019, according to court documents filed in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. 

The plaintiff, Susan Pepper, was out to lunch at the Olive Garden with her husband when she allegedly slipped on the wet floor of a bathroom stall that was not indicated by any sort of cautionary or warning sign, says the February lawsuit.

Pepper suffered injuries including a right knee contusion/sprain, right wrist and hand strain and sprain and the aggravation of a prior right knee injury.

Susan Pepper is suing Olive Garden's owners for one count of negligence while her husband, Jeff Pepper, is suing for one count of loss of consortium.
