PITTSBURGH - David and Michelle Haudrich filed a complaint in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against UATP Management, LLC d/b/a Urban Air Adventure Park and Urban Air Robinson for negligence and loss of consortium.

According to the Oct. 6 complaint, on November 9, 2019, David Haudrich was an attendee at Urban Air Robinson's facility with his two daughters. One of Haudrich's daughters asked Haudrich to join her in the rock-climbing wall attraction called the “leap of faith.”

The daughter, A.H., was quickly fitted into her harness and began using the attraction with an employee, followed by Haudrich being fitted with a harness that was too small and ill-fitted, the suit says.

Haudrich was then fitted with a second harness that also did not fit right, which he alleges he told the employee. Haudrich began doing the first set of apparatuses and went to jump out to the hanging bag when his safety rope was engaged, causing him to flip 180 degrees, the suit says. He says he fell from the harness and hit the floor hard. Haudrich hit his head and shoulder upon falling, the suit says.

Haudrich is represented by Christopher C. Inman.
