PITTSBURGH - Anthony Carter filed a complaint in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Hilltop Inn for negligence - premises liability.
According to the Oct. 28 complaint, on Oct. 11,, Carter was lawfully on the staircase of the premises when without warning, the staircase railings effectiveness caused him to fall off the side and suffer various severe and permanent bodily injuries.
Carter alleges suffering back, head and neck injuries, right elbow pain, aches, pains, mental anxiety, anguish and a severe shock to his entire nervous system. Carter alleges it was the negligence of Hilltop Inn for not inspecting the staircase railing.
