PITTSBURGH - Amanda Bennett filed a complaint in the Court of Common Please of Allegheny County against SAAD United Corporation d/b/a Aden Market for negligence - premises liability.
According to the Oct. 26 complaint, on August 12, 2021, Bennett was on the premises of Aden Market when the front door of the building door slammed shut on her left ankle, thereby causing her to suffer and sustain various severe and permanent bodily injuries. Injuries included left heel laceration requiring multiple sutures, as well as aches, pains, mental anxiety, anguish and a severe shock to her entire nervous system.
Bennett alleges that it was the negligence of Aden Market that caused her injuries to occur because the market did not warn of the door being defective and dangerous.
