Davida Morris has taken legal action against a local bowling alley, alleging negligence that led to her sustaining serious injuries. On April 17, 2025, Morris filed a complaint in the Court of Common Pleas in Delaware County against MacDade Bowl. The case centers around an incident on April 2, 2024, when Morris reportedly slipped and fell due to an unknown substance on the bowling alley floor.

According to the complaint, Davida Morris was at MacDade Bowl as an invitee when she unexpectedly slipped and fell because of a hazardous condition that the defendant allegedly failed to address. The plaintiff accuses MacDade Bowl of negligence for not maintaining a safe environment by failing to clean up the substance or provide adequate warnings about its presence. "The circumstances under which Plaintiff was injured were such that said injuries could not have occurred on said premises except by defendant," the complaint states. It further alleges that MacDade Bowl's negligence includes not inspecting or cleaning the area properly and violating property maintenance codes.

Morris claims she suffered severe injuries from the fall, including a left radius fracture and various internal injuries. These injuries have reportedly caused her significant pain and suffering, mental anguish, and embarrassment. As a result of these injuries, Morris asserts she has been unable to perform daily activities or work duties and will likely incur ongoing medical expenses. The lawsuit seeks compensatory damages exceeding $50,000 for these losses.

Representing Davida Morris is Jason E. Fine from J. Fine Law Group, P.C., based in Philadelphia. The case is being heard in Delaware County's Civil Law Division under Case ID: No: TERM, 2025.
