PHILADELPHIA – For the second time, a federal judge has dismissed litigation from a woman who alleged that the school bus sexual assault she endured as a middle school student was the fault of her school, which was said to have disregarded the alleged assailant’s history of prior assaults and violated her constitutional rights in the process.
PITTSBURGH – Rite Aid has expressly denied liability in a negligence lawsuit brought by a Rochester woman, who claimed she fell on uncleaned salt and snow at her local store last January, breaking her right ankle in the process.
MEDIA – A Chester woman alleges that a nearby funeral home and local mortuary authorities cremated the remains of another individual, as opposed to her husband, and presented those incorrect remains to her, as her actual husband’s body decomposed in the Delaware County Medical Examiner’s Office.
SCRANTON – An activist litigating with the City of Pottsville’s open-burning ordinance with respect to burning flags as a method of political protest, is seeking a stay of the instant case, now that his criminal conviction for the suit’s subject incident has been overturned by the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.
PITTSBURGH – A Pennsylvania teenager’s lawsuit against Facebook and Instagram that holds the social media apps responsible for the development of her eating disorder and related self-harm, has been transferred to a federal court in California.
PHILADELPHIA – For the second time, social media app TikTok is requesting a stay of survival and wrongful death litigation brought against it by the mother of a 10-year-old child who died in December due to attempting a “Blackout Challenge”.
PHILADELPHIA – Chester government officials accused of assault by two individuals who participated in an “Environmental Justice Day” march, seek the dismissal of a variety of claims in the plaintiffs’ suit.

PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia man alleges he was the victim of an assault and battery by corrections officers, after visiting his girlfriend in custody at George W. Hill Correctional Facility in Delaware County.
PHILADELPHIA –Pottstown Hospital and Tower Health are continuing their efforts to dismiss a Chester County woman’s litigation for excessive force injuries she claims she sustained in an arrest at the hospital almost three years ago by Pottstown police officers.
MEDIA – After the parents of a 13-year-old child who drowned at Folcroft Swim Club more than two years ago filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the facility, the swim club is lodged in another litigation brought by its insurance carrier, over whether the insurer has a responsibility to provide coverage in this matter.
PHILADELPHIA – An East Bradford Township public works official is seeking to eliminate allegations that he was not truthful in a deposition given in an underlying action, in his own suit alleging he was fired for reporting dangerous conditions relating to decaying tree limbs in the municipality.
