North Carolina-based Bandit Golf alleged to have stiffed equipment supplier

PITTSBURGH — A man is suing North Carolina residents Robert A. Johns and Cherri S. Johns t/d/b/a Bandit Golf, citing alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

Scott Koontz filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the defendants alleging that they failed to pay the plaintiff for golf equipment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered monetary damages. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly violated a verbal agreement by refusing to pay for golf equipment provided by the plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in the amount of $46,412.58 plus court costs. He is represented by Warner Mariani of Warner Mariani, LLC in Pittsburgh.
