84 Lumber Company claims Kentucky business failed to pay

PITTSBURGH — A Pennsylvania business is suing Kentucky company Monsour Builders Inc. and owner David M. Monsour, citing alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

84 Lumber Company L.P. filed a complaint on Nov. 18 in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered monetary damages. The plaintiff holds Monsour Builders Inc. and David M. Monsour responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their agreement with the plaintiff by failing to pay for goods and supplies.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $37,869.26 plus interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by S. Manoj Jegasothy and William E. Blick of Gordon & Rees, LLP in Pittsburgh.
