PITTSBURGH — A man is suing Tax Group Center Inc., a California corporation, citing alleged violation of telephone harassment statutes.
Mark B. Aronson filed a complaint in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County against Tax Group Center Inc., alleging that the California corporation called the plaintiff to offer its services.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec 8, he suffered damages from receiving an unwanted calls on his residential phone. The plaintiff holds Tax Group Center Inc., responsible because the defendant allegedly used a prerecorded message to contact the plaintiff without his consent.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $6,000.
