HARRISBURG — A maintenance worker is suing the Charles P. and Margaret E. Polk Foundation, citing alleged unpaid wages and violation of Workers' Compensation acts.

Randy Confair filed a complaint on April 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania alleging that the Millersburg non-profit, which operates several medical facilities, failed to properly compensate the plaintiff for his work.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he sustained damages during his employment for not being paid overtime wages. The plaintiff holds the Charles P. and Margaret E. Polk Foundation responsible because it allegedly failed to pay minimum wage to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, liquidated damages, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Derrek W. Cummings and Larry A. Weisberg of McCarthy Weisberg Cummings P.C in Harrisburg.
