Friendly Planet Travel says Red Mangrove failed to pay back loan

PHILADELPHIA — A Jenkintown travel agency is suing Red Mangrove Galapagos LLC, Red Mangrove Galapagos Lodges d/b/a Red Mangrove Lodges, Red Mangrove Inn and/or Red Mangrove Aventura Lodge, alleging breach of contract.

Friendly Planet Travel Inc. filed a complaint on June 5 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the defendants alleging that they failed to settle a debt with the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it was was financially damaged from being owed money by the defendants. The plaintiff holds Red Mangrove Galapagos responsible because it allegedly defaulted on a loan with the plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds $164,825 plus interest, punitive damages, court costs and any further relief this court grants. They are represented by Thomas P. Donnelly of Antheil Maslow & MacMinn LLP in Doylestown.
