Life Can Be A Trip LLC claims Cuba Travel Adventures breached contract

Contract 07

ERIE – An Erie travel organizer alleges that a Cuba trip it booked for travelers did not provide all the amenities it promised.

Life Can Be A Trip LLC filed a complaint on July 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against the APR Group Inc., doing business as Cuba Travel Adventures Group, and Emanuel Kopstein alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff organizes travel excursions for travelers in the Erie region and contacted Kopstein at CTA to plan trip to Cuba for its travelers in 2016. It alleges it booked the New Year's Eve in Havana for 31 of its customers. The plaintiff alleges that numerous services detailed in the package were not provided to travelers.

The plaintiff holds APR Group Inc. and Kopstein responsible because the defendants allegedly made false representations to the plaintiff regarding the accommodations they could provide them.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $121,430 plus other damages and any further relief this court grants. It is represented by Lawrence C. Bolla of Quinn, Buseck, Leemhuis, Toohey & Kroto Inc. in Erie.
