PITTSBURGH – A Wilmerding corporation alleges that a Georgia company has infringed on its patents.
Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corp., doing business as Wabtec Corp., filed a complaint on Sept. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania against Siemens Industry Inc. alleging patent infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is the lawful owner by assignment of all rights of patents '140; '764; and '463.
The plaintiff holds Siemens Industry Inc. responsible because the defendant's Trainguard PTC allegedly infringes on these patents.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks declaration that the defendant has infringed plaintiff's patents, enjoin the defendant, damages, interest, court costs and any further relief this court grants.
