ALLENTOWN – A Nazareth woman alleges two Bethlehem entities failed to send her documents she requested regarding a 401(k) plan.

Denise G. Glaros filed a complaint on Sept. 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against the G.C. Zarnas & Co. Inc. (NE), formerly known as G.C. Zarnas & Co.  Inc., and The G.C. Zarnas & Co. Inc. 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan citing the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 11, she made a request for copies of the latest updated summary plan description, the latest annual report and other documents entitled to her under ERISA but did not receive them from the defendants.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly refused to provide the documents requested by the plaintiff despite receiving her request.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants, penalties against the defendants based on the maximum $100 per diem, court costs and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Anne K. Manley of Gross McGinley LLP in Easton.
