Progressive Direct Insurance Company Accuses Avery Gee's Auto Repair of Negligence

In the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, Progressive Direct Insurance Company has filed a lawsuit against Avery Gee, doing business as Russell's Auto Repair. The case, identified as CASE NO.: CV2024003906, was filed on an unspecified date in May.

The plaintiff, represented by Michael J. Dougherty from Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A., alleges that on May 1, 2022, the defendant negligently collided with a vehicle insured by Progressive Direct Insurance Company. 

The incident occurred near Veterans Memorial Highway in Chester, Pennsylvania. The damages to the insured vehicle and incurred rental charges amount to $16,780.53.

The plaintiff alleges that the defendant was driving carelessly, driving too fast for the conditions, failed to keep proper lookout, disregarded traffic control devices and failed to abide by the rules of the road set forth by the state of Pennsylvania.

Progressive Direct Insurance Company is seeking judgment against Avery Gee for the total amount of $16,780.53 plus interest and costs due to his alleged negligence leading to property damage.
