According to the complaint filed by attorney Jared S. Zafran of Zafran Law Group, Roosevelt Bailey slipped on a wet floor in a restroom at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino & Racetrack. The fall resulted in serious injuries including tears to his medial meniscus, medial collateral ligament (MCL), and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) of his left knee, as well as lumbar spine disc protrusions. Bailey alleges that the casino failed to maintain safe premises or provide adequate warnings about the hazardous condition.

Mr. Bailey has filed a lawsuit against Chester Downs and Marina, LLC, doing business as Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino & Racetrack, in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County, PA. It was filed on May 13, 2024.

Bailey is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for medical expenses, pain and suffering, emotional distress, and loss of life's pleasures due to his injuries. He claims that Harrah’s negligence has caused him ongoing physical pain and financial losses.
