The Delaware County Court of Common Pleas reported the following activities in the suit brought by Upper Darby Township against Karen L. Sparks on Aug. 7.
PHILADELPHIA – A Georgia man and Norfolk Southern Railway Company have mutually elected to discontinue litigation that alleges his contraction of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma was a proximate result of his work environment without prejudice.
PHILADELPHIA – A Georgia man and former employee of Norfolk Southern Railway Co. has chosen Philadelphia as a setting in which to argue that his contraction of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma was a proximate result of his work environment, a move opposed by the rail company.
Denise Tran and Anthony Tran filed a complaint on Aug. 6, in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, against Bed, Bath & Beyond, alleging that the store failed to use due care to keep its premises safe.
A forklift operator at marine terminals located on the Delaware River says his employers violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by failing to accommodate his temporary need for light duty while recovering from injuries he sustained outside work, according to a suit filed at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
