HARRISBURG — A former employee of a service provider for gas drillers is suing the company over allegations of unpaid overtime compensation.
Isaac Wright, on behalf of himself and all others similarly situated, filed a lawsuit on April 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania against Cenergy International Services LLC, citing violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act.
Cenergy International Services provides services at natural gas drilling sites. According to the complaint, Wright was employed by the defendant from August 2015 until January 2016. The plaintiff claims he was paid a fixed amount for each workday, regularly working in excess of 40 hours per week. He avers that the defendant failed to pay overtime compensation for the plaintiff and all other members of the class.
Wright seeks class-action designation, unpaid overtime wages, prejudgment interest, liquidated damages, litigation costs, expenses, and attorneys’ fees. He is represented by Peter Winebrake, R. Andrew Santillo, and Mark J. Gottesfeld of Winebrake & Santillo LLC in Dresher.
