PHILADELPHIA – A man who worked for two major rail transport companies claims they violated the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA) by placing him in a work environment which exposed him to carcinogens and later led him to contract bladder cancer, claims the companies categorically deny.
PITTSBURGH - FirstEnergy Corp. has filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought by a security guard who sued it and four other FirstEnergy entities over an alleged fall down stairs.

PITTSBURGH — The Superior Court of Pennsylvania partially upheld an order granting a new trial in a negligence case filed against Providence Care Center.
MEDIA – After not being picked to a coveted leadership role in Pennsylvania’s opioid litigation, a Conshohocken plaintiffs firm is pleading with a Delaware County judge to reconsider.
The fight for control of Pennsylvania’s opioid litigation is not over, as Lehigh County is not happy that its case has been grouped in with more than 30 others and that lawyers it previously rejected have been tasked with overseeing the proceedings.
